Karaoke Places in Singapore

Because who doesn’t love karaoke?

1. Tang Music Box

Address: 3B River Valley Rd, #02-03/04 The Foundry, Singapore 179021 | Tel: 6338 6659 | Opening Hours: 2pm – 4am (Mon to Thu), 2pm – 6am (Fri & Sat), 1pm – 3am (Sun) | Estimated Rates: $30/person for 3 hours (for a 6 pax room), see here for exact rates.

Tang Music Box may not be as big as some of the other karaoke chains in this list, but they are still a familiar favourite. Besides its central location in Clarke Quay, Tang Music Box is also open until 6am on Fridays and Saturdays – so you know where to go if you still feel like partying after the clubs close. Oh, and have we mentioned how they have a mini-supermarket stocked with snacks and drinks too?

2. K Suites

Address: Orchard Parade Hotel, 1 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247905 | Tel: 6354 3113 | Opening Hours: 11am – 3am (Mon to Fri), 11am – 4am (Sat & Sun) | Estimated Rates: $72/hour (for a room for 10 pax), with a $6 surcharge per person. K Suites is definitely no seedy KTV lounge. In fact, chic and chill are the vibes around here, with plush couches, top-notch sound systems and clean restrooms on site (so important, but so rare in most karaoke places).

The upscale karaoke lounge is pricier than average, but you can expect thoughtful extras like WiFi access, an extensive menu, snuggly blankets and even bedroom slippers.

Despite its name, Cash Studio is actually one of the more affordable karaoke options in Singapore. Sure, it may lack the flashy amenities and fancy trimmings, but it’s actually not a bad place to get your karaoke fix. The Ming Arcade outlet is located in Orchard (behind Forum Galleria), so it’s relatively convenient as well.

Cash Studio also has one of the widest selections of Japanese songs (among other things), so you know where to go if you want to sing your favourite Ayumi Hamasaki tunes.
