Beer lovers, here’s one for you. As part of the popular German festival, Oktoberfest Asia returns once again for a fun-filled weekend of Bavarian cuisine, festive entertainment and of course, lots of booze. Held at Tan Quee Lan Street, the three-day event will be held on a larger scale as compared to previous years – and in air-conditioned comfort too. 2. Skechers Blacklight Run
Need to burn off extra calories from all that beer drinking? The Skechers Blacklight Run will have you running (or walking) through several blacklight zones, while doused in UV Neon Glow Powder. The run is not a competitive one, so don’t worry about having to train seriously for it – just round up your best buds, throw on some old gym clothes and have a colourful (both literally and figuratively speaking) night out. DJ Automatic (USA) will also be spinning at the main stage, so save some energy for the after party.

3. WICKED The Musical
Discover a wondrous world of wizards, witches and magic, as WICKED The Musical returns to Marina Bay Sands after five long years. The award-winning Broadway production tells the tale of an unlikely friendship between popular witch Glinda and the outcast Elphaba, against a backdrop of stunning costumes, astounding technical displays and of course, show-stopping songs.

4. Halloween Horror Nights 6
It’s that time of the year again, where Halloween fever has movie fanatics and adrenaline junkies eagerly waiting for some spooky fun. Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Singapore for its sixth edition this year, with 5 haunted houses, 2 scare zones and plenty of action-packed Halloween fun throughout the month of October.

5. Singapore International Festival of Music
Come join the Singapore International Festival of Music (SIFOM), as the event brings together the best and brightest of Singapore’s classical musicians. The festival, which is in its second year running, showcases the best local talents alongside esteemed international guests from all over the world. This year’s edition will feature the world famous Chamber Orchestra of Europe, opera star Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, renowned conductor Jeffery Meyer and more. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Myths and Legends’, so the concerts will explore classical music inspired by folklore and fairytales.
