1. KOOZA by Cirque du Soleil
The world-renowned Cirque du Soleil returns to Singapore with a new production, KOOZA, which combines impressive acrobatics with the art of clowning. The show, which will feature an international cast of acrobats, musicians, vocalists and actors, is set to wow audiences with jaw-dropping stunts, hilarious antics and a visually-stunning set.

2. Woof-a-thon 2017
Organised by the Singapore Heart Foundation, Woof-a-thon 2017 aims to raise awareness about the health benefits of pet ownership. The event, which is open to both animal lovers and pet owners alike, will feature basic health screenings for dogs, educational talks and even CPR demonstrations for both dogs and humans. Prospective owners can also check out pets at the adoption drive organised by Causes for Animals, while pet owners can participate in the 2km Buddy Walk with their furry friends.

3. Singapore Tea Festival 2017
Ahhh…finally, an event dedicated to all the tea lovers out there! The inaugural Singapore Tea Festival 2017 will take place next month at ION Orchard, with a slate of tea-related activities for all. Highlights of the three-day festival include a Tea Market featuring a wide variety of established and homegrown tea brands, a Tea Museum with an exhibition on the heritage of tea, tea-related workshops and craft sessions, and a pop-up cafe (called the Teapitiam #punny) featuring – what else? – tea and snacks, of course. How fan-tea-stic (sorry, we just had to).

4. The xx – Live in Singapore
Indie band The xx returns to Singapore with a one-night-only concert, which promises to be their biggest show here yet. The London trio, which consists of Romy Madley Croft (vocals, lead guitar), Oliver Sim (vocals, bass guitar) and Jamie Smith (beats, MPC sampler), rose to fame after winning the 2010 Mercury Prize for their debut album – and have since built a strong following for their signature minimalist sounds. Special guest Sampha will open the show.

5. Wheeler’s Festival
This July, the team behind popular cafes Wheeler’s Yard and Wheeler’s Estate will be throwing a two-day lawn party at their new digs in Seletar. The festival, which is free for all to attend, will feature plenty of good eats (and ice-cold beers to wash down the food, of course), music performances and all-around feel good vibes for the whole family. The event will also launch Wheeler’s cycling group and membership ride, WY-WE-CYCLE, so it’s the perfect opportunity to dust off your trusty bicycles and get riding.
