Foodies will be delighted to know that the World Gourmet Summit returns to Singapore this April for a month of fine wine and gourmet eats. The highly-acclaimed festival, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, brings together both international culinary names and local talents.

Back for its 10th year running, Ben & Jerry’s popular Free Cone Day returns once again for more ice cream lovin’. For the first time ever, this year’s Free Cone Day will feature a Built To Order (BTO) cart, with toppings like rainbow rice and choco rolls to pimp your cones. Fans of chocolate should also keep an eye out for their brand new flavour ‘Choc Full Of Ideasinc’, which is well, as chocolate-y as it sounds.

Here’s one for the sports buffs out there. Come mid-April, our very own National Stadium will play host to the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. The two-day tournament will feature 16 of the world’s top rugby teams, as they battle it out to emerge victorious. You can also expect fun sideline activities at the event, such as band performances, face painting, balloon sculpting and more.
