The low-down: California Fitness pioneered the mega-gym concept in Asia, and its big and spacious gyms average over 3,000 square meters – perfect if you don’t want to get too up close and personal with the fat, sweaty man on the treadmill next to you. And for the workaholics out there, take note that California Fitness gyms are also usually open until midnight, so you can de-stress on the treadmill (instead of reaching for the bag of potato chips).
