Step aside Torres, because there’s a new brand of truffle potato chips in town. Aroma Truffle & Co is a local brand that dedicates itself to using only the finest ingredients to make delectable truffle chips. The brand uses black summer truffles – carefully selected and harvested from a forest in the ancient Italian city of Spoleto – to create their artisan truffle chips.
Aroma Truffle & Co has the occasional pop-up space (check their Facebook for details) but you can buy the chips online too. There are two flavours available at the moment – Original and Parmesan Cheese.

We’ve had our fill of Chicken Rice potato chips, but what about Chicken Rice…pizza? Pezzo Pizza presents their new Hainanese Chicken Rice Pizza, which mixes traditional elements of the local dish with classic pizza ingredients. Strange, interesting…or both? You’ll have to try it for yourself to decide.
Pezzo also has other has other new items on the menu, including the Kebab Boom Boom! Pizza (with barbecued meat), Fiery Hot Chick Pizza (shredded chicken with extra spicy chilli sauce) and the Satay Sedap Pizza (with chicken satay, red onions, and fresh cucumbers).

Local pastry chef Janice Wong presents three different festive hampers for the Christmas season, all of which are ideal if you need to send someone (your mother-in-law *cough*) an impressive gift. Each of the hampers include some of her most interesting items, such as the Chocolate Crayon Box (cute, no?) and a Chocolate PaintJar Set. The individual items are for sale too, in case you’re looking for a smaller gift.

Lady M has launched their very first vegan item this month, which is the gluten-free Vegan Chocolate Tart. The handmade tarts are filled with caramel sauce, then topped with vegan dark chocolate ganache and cocoa nibs for a little texture.
Lady M also has seasonal specials for the festive period – be sure to check out their Black Forest Cake and Gingerbread Latte, both of which are available until the end of December.
