1. Benjamin Browns

Benjamin Browns was one of the first places in Singapore to do Over The Top Milkshakes – and by that we mean really OTT. I’m talking pretzels, wafers, fruit slices, Nutella (oh dear Lord help me now)…the works.
Some places tend to be more show (read: Instagram-worthy) than substance, but Benjamin Browns definitely isn’t one of them. Chocolate lovers will appreciate the Nutella Banana Shake, which – whooooo boy – is a really sinful treat. Think pretzels, bananas, wafers and enough Nutella to send you into a permanent sugar high.
If you love peanut butter, go for the Peanut Butter & Jelly Shake instead. It may not be as popular as its Nutella counterpart, but hats off to Benjamin Browns for paying homage to a truly underrated flavour (sorry Nutella lovers, but peanut butter rules.)

2. PS. Cafe

PS. Cafe’s truffle fries are pretty legendary, but their drinks aren’t too shabby either. As with most dishes there, the milkshakes are made with quality ingredients. No cheap ice cream or milk here, just the good stuff for your drinking pleasure.
The next time you head to PS. Cafe, get one of their Oreo Milkshakes to go along with your order of truffle fries. Sounds weird, but the saltiness of the fries actually tastes good with the creamy sweetness of the milkshake. Go on, live a little.

3. Cake Spade

You know, I always knew that one day my prayers would be answered. That someone, somewhere, would come up with the brilliant idea of combining two of the best desserts on Earth – cake and milkshakes.
Cake Spade is better known for their delectable cakes, but that’s not to say that their Cake Shakes aren’t worth a try. Besides, you know you want to order it for that Instagram pic. #diditforthegram
The Unicone Cake Shake is a sure crowd-pleaser, with Cake Spade’s popular Red Velvet cake perched atop a vanilla milkshake. The crowning glory? A cone of pink candy floss to send your Instagram likes into overdrive.
If all that is still not enough to convince you, you should know that The Unicone also has Nutella drizzled on the sides. NUTELLLLAAAAA do you hear me?? Good, now go out and get one for yourself.

4. OverEasy

OverEasy has always been known for their all-American diner food, so it’s no surprise that they do a mean milkshake. Take the Berry Bonanza Milkshake, for example. If you think you love your chocolate milkshakes, think again. The Berry Bonanza Milkshake is just like your favourite chocolate milkshake…but on crack. The shake is a blend of chocolate, marshmallows and berries, topped off with an assortment of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and chocolate balls. Oh and more marshmallows.
The best part of it all? OverEasy’s new outlet in Orchard Road is super convenient, so now you don’t have an excuse to miss out. Besides, you know what they say, calories don’t count when no one sees you eating them…

The milkshakes at Ben & Jerry’s may not look as Insta-worthy as some of the other OTT options on this list, but how could we leave them out? It’s Ben & Jerry’s yo.
Simple as they may seem, Ben & Jerry’s milkshakes will definitely satisfy any sweet cravings. You won’t get any fancy toppings or names here – just honest-to-goodness milkshakes made with the good stuff. Besides, what’s wrong with only having whipped cream on your milkshake?
