Who says fashion in Singapore is only about blogshops and “inspired” fashion (read: shameless knockoffs)? Here are some Singaporean labels that make us proud to shop local.
Prices range from $99 to $209. Available at ION Orchard #B1-06, TANGS Plaza Level 2 and Kapok at National Design Centre. Also available online. Delivery is free for orders above $150.
Started by designers Sven Tan and Kane Tan (who have several awards and gigs under their belt), In Good Company focuses on high quality essentials that are classic, modern and feminine. From wardrobe staples (that could give COS a run for their money *cough*) to versatile day-to-night dresses, In Good Company is a good place to find wearable and affordable everyday outfits.

Collate The Label needs no introduction. Helmed by popular fashion influencer Velda Tan, the label has built a loyal following for its flattering cuts and quality materials. The pieces are a sophisticated take on versatile classics, such as culotte jumpsuits and peplum dresses.

Prices range from $59 to $95. Available online and at Wheelock Place #02-02/03. Delivery is free for all local orders.
SOIGNÉ The Label is a relatively new kid on the block, but it’s still a hit in the local label scene – especially since popular fashion influencer Jessica Tham is behind it. While the selection of clothes may not be as extensive as some of the other brands in this list, SOIGNÉ’s designs are quite different from the rest. Instead of the usual minimalist look, the pieces are more about feminine elegance – think bow details and off-shoulder maxi dresses.

Prices range from $39 to $109. Available at Robinsons (The Heeren and Raffles City) and Wheelock Place #02-02. Also available online. Delivery is free for local orders above $50.
Started by local influencer Beatrice Tan, KLARRA has been around longer than most of the labels in this list. The brand offers two lines that cater to different needs – the main KLARRA line is younger and more casual, while the FRONTROW BY KLARRA line is slightly pricier, but with dressier pieces in more premium fabrics. Besides playful basics like textured crop tops and striped jumpsuits, you can also expect versatile work essentials, such as shift dresses that will easily take you from day to night. KLARRA also offers complimentary personalised styling sessions at their studio.

Prices range from $39 to $69. Available online. Delivery is free for local orders.
SaturdayClub is a bit of a mystery, really. Unlike other online labels fronted by a popular influencer, nobody quite knows the faces behind the brand – yet it still remains a go-to label for contemporary and affordable clothes.
While the price range may be similar to those of blogshops, SaturdayClub is anything but. For starters, the quality of their clothes is surprisingly good for the price point and more importantly, the online store also has excellent customer service (free next day delivery anyone?). If anything, SaturdayClub is sort of like a – dare we say – local (and cheaper) version of ZARA. The pieces are a mix of global trends and urban-chic street style, such as culotte rompers in bold hues and printed dresses in varying cuts.
