Beauty tricks that may seem bizarre but will make your life easier.
Tip #1: Thumb-in-mouth technique
As suggestive as it sounds, this tip really does work. After applying lipstick, stick your thumb in your mouth and slowly pull it out. It’ll remove any excess lipstick on the inner rim of your mouth, so you won’t get embarrassing lipstick stains on your teeth. A great substitute if you run out of tissue paper. Best to do this in the privacy of your bathroom.

Tip #2: Downward strokes
Again, we mean no indecency. We’re referring to lip gloss. Apply your lip gloss in downward strokes to make lips look plumper and fuller. Now, Angelina Jolie’s got nothin’ on you.
Tip #3: Rub Vaseline on callused feet
You’ve heard us rave over this magical pot of goodness countless times before and this time is no exception. Treat calluses by rubbing petroleum jelly over the dry and scaly parts of your feet before bed time. Wear a pair of socks for good measure. Never mind if you look silly – you’ll wake up with softer, smoother feet (comparable to a baby’s bottom, we think).

Tip #4: Tame frizzy hair with dryer sheets
Solve pesky fly-aways by rubbing a clean dryer sheet over your hair. Not only will it remove the static, but it’ll also make your hair smell fresh and clean. We hear that rubbing dryer sheets on your skin will also keep the bugs at bay.

Tip #5: Shaving with conditioner
The next time you shave in the shower, try lathering your legs with some hair conditioner before. It’ll soften the hairs before shaving, giving you smoother and shinier legs (and who wouldn’t want that?).

Tip #6: Scrub away streaks with baking soda
If you find yourself faced with a self-tanner mishap, try rubbing some baking soda onto the streaks with a damp towel. And as an added bonus, it’ll exfoliate your skin too.
